Is it a phone? Is it a GPS? It's a bit of both.
OpenMoko revealed today, in a press release, that the Dash Express (by Dash Navigation, Inc) will be running on the NEO hard and software platform. So before the official release of a consumer ready phone device (the NEO 1973) you can get your hands on a device based on the OpenMoko GTA0X reference design. Applications running on the device are developed bij Dash Navigation but will use the OpenMoko kernel and bootloader. The hardeware was jointly designed by OpenMoko en FIC Mobility, who will manufacure the Dash Express.
